Dentistry & Digital Radiology
Dentistry for animals is a complex and complicated topic requiring advanced training. Many human medical specialties are dedicated solely to this field (Dentists, Endodontists, Orthodontists, Periodontists, Dental technicians and Hygienists).
We have a special interest in Veterinary Dentistry, and have invested focused time and training to develop our preventative and therapeutic dental program. Our dental evaluation starts with the removal of plaque, tartar, and calculus. We then carefully search for pockets around the crown of every tooth, taking full mouth digital dental radiographs. Once the oral cavity and teeth have been evaluated, we chat with our dog-or-cat’s parent to plan treatment options.
