Dr. Jasan Ghuman
Veterinarian

Jasan grew up in California’s Central Valley, where his lifelong passion for animals began at an early age. By the age of three, he was already fascinated by the natural world spending his childhood catching lizards, frogs, birds, tadpoles, and fish with friends. These early encounters sparked a deep curiosity in zoology and a lasting love for animal care.

Dr. Ghuman pursued his undergraduate studies at California State University, Stanislaus, before attending Ross University School of Veterinary Medicine. He completed his clinical training at the University of Florida, and he is Fear Free Certified. He is committed to reducing stress and anxiety for his animal patients during veterinary visits.

Over the years, Dr. Ghuman has cared for many beloved animal companions and currently shares his home with two cats, Oliver and Milo, and a dog named Meatloaf. Outside of veterinary medicine, he enjoys gardening, spending time in nature, and working out.

Dr. Ghuman brings a compassionate, knowledgeable, and calm presence to every appointment, always striving to build strong, trusting relationships with both pets and their people.

Dr. Gia Kingston
Veterinarian

Dr. Gia Kingston has been a veterinarian with Agate Veterinary since June 2025.  She received her undergraduate degree from University of Connecticut, and her DVM from Ross University of Veterinary Medicine. Dr. Kingston is USDA certified and is a member of the AVMA. Her special interests include behavior modification and feline medicine. 

She is originally a Nutmegger from the state of Connecticut and currently lives in California with her lovely husband and their cohort of terrible (yet wonderful) animals. When she's not at work, Dr Kingston is either somewhere in the woods, somewhere at sea, or running errands at Costco. Dr. Kingston grew up outdoors and has a fierce fondness for most, if not all, creatures. She also enjoys knitting and beer.
