Dr. Jasan Ghuman
Veterinarian

Dr. Ghuman was raised in California’s Central Valley, where a lifelong love of animals and the natural world took root early. That passion ultimately led him to pursue a career devoted to the health and well-being of pets and the people who love them.

He completed his undergraduate education at California State University, Stanislaus, followed by veterinary school at Ross University School of Veterinary Medicine. He completed his clinical training at the University of Florida and is Fear Free Certified, with a strong commitment to making veterinary visits as calm and comfortable as possible.

At home, Dr. Ghuman enjoys life with his two cats, Oliver and Milo, and his dog, Meatloaf. Outside of veterinary medicine, he enjoys gardening, spending time outdoors, and staying active.

Dr. Ghuman is known for his thoughtful, compassionate care and for the steady, reassuring presence he brings to each appointment. He is proud to serve pets and families with an emphasis on trust, comfort, and quality medicine.

Dr. Gia Kingston
Veterinarian

Dr. Gia Kingston has been a veterinarian with Agate Veterinary since June 2025.  She received her undergraduate degree from University of Connecticut, and her DVM from Ross University of Veterinary Medicine. Dr. Kingston is USDA certified and is a member of the AVMA. Her special interests include behavior modification and feline medicine. 

She is originally a Nutmegger from the state of Connecticut and currently lives in California with her lovely husband and their cohort of terrible (yet wonderful) animals. When she's not at work, Dr Kingston is either somewhere in the woods, somewhere at sea, or running errands at Costco. Dr. Kingston grew up outdoors and has a fierce fondness for most, if not all, creatures. She also enjoys knitting and beer.
